Welcome to the USS Ragnarok
What will be after heaven and earth and the whole world are burned? -Ragnarok

Welcome to the home of the USS Ragnarok, a Heavy Carrier in Obsidian Fleet's Task Force 21. We are a play by SMS vessel, a home to descriptive writers of those who are fans of the Series, or simply a fan of writing. A good time to join is now, the vessel is just starting up, many positions are available.

Ragnarok Mission 1
Ghost in the Machine

The USS Ragnarok, a quandary of a name given to a Normandy class carrier of Starfleet, who had been known for names that reflected peace, prosperity, or locations. Ragnarok was the end of the world, the Apocalypse as it were, yet she was to be one of the backbones of the fleet. In a time of uncertainty, the need to ready a warship like her to full readiness was quick in step, and a newly promoted Captain to take the helm finds himself hard pressed to step up to the challenge. Yet just out of sight, just out of mind a problem is rising, a problem that rests within the computer cores of the ship, of an old AI program that had been corrupted, and never purged…a true ghost in the machine…and one that could cost the crew its very life with one wrong step.

Due to not alot of people actually getting in touch with me, and another round of stupidity from O fleet brass, after a discussion with our TFCO, I have decided to shut down the USS Ragnarok indefinately. I am sorry I haven't given you a better heads up, but with how inactive most of you are, it doesn't seem like it will come as much of a shock.
I wish you good luck in the future ahead with roleplay, and perhaps our paths will cross again, just not in O fleet.

I know life has not been easy lately for alot of people. The urge and drive to get active in a roleplay like the Ragnarok often is something that takes too much effort, and with no one putting forth the effort, everyone else false into turn. This hopefully will be turned around quickly. I will be more active, and having gotten a little bit of life into the sim with the addition of 2 new members, a chief diplomat, and a new XO, hopefully the Ragnarok will get right back into the midst of it, winning awards from O fleet like we did our very first week. Now, for those who don't know what is going on, it's simple, or 'simple'.
The Ragnarok is currently having problems all over the ship, power is down except for some emergency power, communications, beyond the Marine hand held, or helmet mics are down. Orders have come down, or spread from the bridge, Marines are slowly spreading through the ship to keep the peace, drop transporter inhibitors, and keep up communications. Fighters will be launching soon to give the ship eyes out into space, and everyone for the most part is 'safe', with some notable differences to that.
What I need from all of you is to know who is active, or going to be active, and who is not. We are doing some major houecleaning, and if this ship is going to survive, I need to know who is willing, and wants to make an effort to keep her afloat. Rules will be enforced now, that no posts within 2 weeks will be removal from the simm. If you can't post once in two weeks...you don't need to be roleplaying.
Thank you.

This is a Captains most hated type of message. But as the new year is coming around, but inactivity is a key component to a ship not doing well. Many of you, almost all are in department head positions, the ship is in emergency mode, if you cannot think of anything to write about...I think something is terribly wrong. I am guilty of it myself, but I have been trying to help along the big jp, and yet few people even attempted to help with it.
Therefore, without pointing fingers or blame to anyone, I am simply going to say if I don't get at least one post out of each of you, whether in jp or single post, I will be removing you from the simulation without a second thought. This goes for everyone...myself included.
